ExcelSense Technologies was pleased to welcome Mr. Allan Najam, Consul General of Chile in Vancouver, to its Richmond headquarters for an official visit focused on strengthening collaboration between British Columbia and Chile in advanced industrial vision technology and sustainable mining.
The visit highlighted growing opportunities for cooperation between Canada and Chile, two countries at the forefront of mining innovation, particularly in the areas of automation, safety, and high-performance sensing technologies for demanding industrial environments.
Hosted by the ExcelSense executive team, discussions centered on the growing demand within the Chilean mining sector for rugged, maintenance-free, self-cleaning cameras and LiDARs. As a global leader in copper production and high-altitude mining operations, Chile presents significant opportunities for advanced industrial vision solutions.

During the visit, the Consul General toured ExcelSense’s research and development and production facilities and received a technical demonstration of the company’s patented self-cleaning cameras and LiDARs.
